Alison Doody

Alison Doody is an Irish actress and model. Born on November 11, 1966. Alison Doody made her film debut as the Bond girl in A View to a Kill, (1985). Then she starred in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989. Doody played Nazi sympathizing archaeologist Elsa Schneider. Siobhan Donnevan is in A Prayer for the Dying (1997), Charlotte Taffin (1988) and Rebecca Flannery Major League II (1994) were other characters. Doody was first introduced to modeling when she was approached by a professional photographer. It led to an impressive modeling career in the commercial world. Doody was very cautious about doing glamorous or sexually explicit work. The rule was extended to her acting career. In 1985, following being noticed by the directors of casting for a James Bond new film, Doody acted in a tiny part in Jenny Flex as in A View to a Kill. Doody is listed in John Willis Screen World's Vol. 3 as being one of the 12 promising actors of 1986. 38. Doody aged 18 as she played the character of Doody in Bond she was still the youngest Bond girl to date. A Prayer for the Dying starring Mickey Rourke also had a performance by Doody, playing IRA Siobhan. Doody was a silent actor in a 1987 adaptation to The Secret Garden, playing Archibald Craven's dream bride Lilias. Doody was Sapsorrow in the Jim Henson's fable show The Storyteller, opposite John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. Her first appearance was in the film Taffin alongside Pierce Brosnan. Next, she portrayed the role of Dr. Elsa Schneider as an Austrian archaeologist, Nazi-sympathizer, and antagonist to Harrison Ford. Doody has collaborated with three James Bond actors. Doody co-starred in 1991 with Jonathan Pryce opposite the British mini-series Selling Hitler, which was in the spirit of a publication scam named the Hitler Diaries. Then she moved to Hollywood. She was Flannery the agent of Charlie Sheen and her girlfriend on the set of Major League II. She was selected as an alternative to Cybill Shepherd, who had been L'Oreal's spokesperson. Doody returned to acting in 2003, playing a small part as a character in The Actors, a British comedy The Actors, in which Michael Caine played herself at an awards ceremony. She was in the film with Patrick Swayze, in the 2004 TV film adaptation to King Solomon's Mines. Doody appeared as a character in Danny Dyer 2010's The Rapture. Doody was later a guest on the medical drama of RTE The Clinic and was set to star in a 2011 remake of the horror film The Asphyx but the project was later put on hold. Pam Jefferson, the character she played in E4's comedy Beaver Falls during its first season of two years. She starred in We Still Kill the Old Way in 2014, a documentary. In November of 2018 she received the Almeria award for best film and received a Star on the Almeria Walk of Fame.
