Rena Sofer

  

Rena Sherel Sofer (born December 2 the 2nd of December, 1968) is an American actress and model, well-known for her roles on the daytime network, in episodic guest appearances, as well as made-for-television movies. Sofer has been awarded the Daytime Emmy Award 1995 for her role in the role of Lois Cerullo of the soap show General Hospital. From 2013 to 2022, she played Quinn Fuller on the CBS soap show The Bold and the Beautiful.




 Childhood and early life


 Sofer was born in Arcadia (California), the daughter of Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau), who is a psychologist, and Martin Sofer, who is a Orthodox Rabbi.




 She and her brother moved with David as well as her father to Teaneck (New Jersey) in the year 1970. But, Sofer lived in Western Pennsylvania as a young person. The family was located in Ambridge Pennsylvania where their father was the director of Beth Samuels Jewish Center. She attended the Frisch School, a coeducational Modern Orthodox Jewish highschool in Paramus (New Jersey). Sofer was born in North Bergen, New Jersey. Her father was rabbi of Temple Beth El. After finishing her studies at North Bergen High School she was a student at Montclair State College.

 Daytime television


 Sofer first played Lois Marie Cerullo on General Hospital. In 1993, she worked as managing a band. She was first seen in the role of Rocky McKenzie in the 1988-91 daytime soap opera Loving.
